Jimmie H. Leasure, 67, of Coolville, Ohio formerly of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away May 6, 2008 at his residence.
He was born May 6, 1941 in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late Alvie and Mary Magdalene Leasure. Jimmie was a retired truck driver, enjoyed fishing and auto racing and was an avid wrestling fan.
He is survived by one sister, JoAnn Quick of Coolville, Ohio; one brother, Harold Leasure of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 39 years, Minnie ‘Pearl’ Foutty Leasure in 2007; two brothers, Earl and Paul Leasure; and one sister Mary Arnett.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va., with the Rev. Jim Lynch officiating. Burial will follow in the Foutty Cemetery, Wirt County. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
