| Lawanna Mae Wells-Waldron, 63, of Waverly, W.Va. passed away June 28, 2009, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 1, 1946, in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and June Davis Snider. Lawanna Mae was a homemaker and was also employed with Williamstown Bank until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, planting flowers and especially enjoyed her family. She attended the Celebration Center of Marietta, Ohio. She is survived by her husband, Earl Waldron of Waverly, W.Va.; two daughters, Lisa Wells of Akron, Ohio, and Kimberly Stoops of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one son, Charles Wells Jr. of Stow, Ohio; two sisters, Sandra Kidder of Reno, Ohio, and Debbie Salem of Bridgeport, Ohio; two brothers, Kenneth Snider of Bridgeport, Ohio, and Douglas Snider of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and two grandchildren, Krista Stoops of Charleston, W.Va., and Jennifer Stoops of Morgantown, W.Va. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles "Pete" Wells in 1980; and two brothers, Charles and Marvin Snider. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Gordie Deer officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen North Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
