| Edna Lourie Lowe, 87, of Parkersburg, W.Va. (Beechwood), passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Sunbridge Care Parkersburg. She was born Dec. 7, 1921 in Ritchie County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Okey A. and Marjorie Eddy Linch. Mrs. Lowe was formerly employed at Dudley’s Florist and Mister Bee Potato Chip Company. She loved gardening and enjoyed flowers. She is survived by two daughters, Jo Ann Allman and Judy Gibson and her husband, Larry all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Mark Massey, Tim Massey, and Tessa Miller all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; three great-grandchildren, Michael Massey of Myrtle Beach, SC, Matt Massey of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Josh Hays of Vienna, W.Va.; one great-great-grandchild, Hayley; and one brother, Ray Linch of Vienna, W.Va. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman C. “Tobe” Lowe in 1990; one son-in-law, William V. “Bill” Allman Jr.; and two brothers, Delbert Linch and Dan Mollohan. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Scott Stewart officiating. Services will conclude with interment in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. | |
