| Madge Irene VanFossen Bonar, 87, of Marietta, passed away 1:10 pm Friday October 30, 2009 at her home. She was born February 11, 1922 in Harriettsville, Ohio to Wade and Ida Belle Springer VanFossen. Madge was a homemaker and a member of the Road Fork Baptist Church in Harriettsville. On March 13, 1941 Madge married William Carl Bonar who survives with 2 sons, Lloyd C. (Annette) Bonar of Marietta, Larry D. (Wilma Mendenhall) Bonar of Newport and 2 daughters, Wanda (Larry) Delancy of Williamstown, Cheryl (Allen) Weaver) of Tunnel. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, a sister-in-law Betty VanFossen of Terre Haute, IN and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents 4 brothers and 1 sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 3 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Cemetery.
