| Patricia Joan Creighton, 78, of New Matamoras, OH, passed away November 3, 2009, at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. She was born July 26, 19 31, in Big Run, Wetzel County, WV, a daughter of the late Hobart and Daisy Brookover Locke. She was a 1949 graduate of Magnolia High School, she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 378. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Matamoras and she was the owner and operator of the former Pat’s Flowers of New Matamoras. She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Swan and her husband, Mike, of New Matamoras, OH, Tammy Powell and her husband, Dave, of St. Marys, WV, grandchildren, Sara Frashure and her husband, Josh, of McMurray, PA, Shana Swan of New Matamoras, Lindsey and Lydia Powell of St. Marys, John Paul Creighton of Partlow, VA, Cody Keane of New Matamoras, OH, Tammy Wilfong of Marietta, OH, one great granddaughter, Neveah Mease of Marietta, OH, three brothers, Murl Locke, Jim Locke, Mack Locke, two sisters, June Lone, Shirley Twyman and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert “Bob” Creighton, one son, Johnny Creighton, and one brother, Burl Locke. Services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009, at 1 P. M. at the First Baptist Church, 400 Broadway Street, New Matamoras, OH, with Pastor Rick Smith officiating. Calling hours will be from 2 to 8 P. M. Friday at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV, and from 11 A. M. to 1 P. M. Saturday at the church.
