| Judy Pauline Thorn, 57, of Parkersburg, W.Va., went to be with the Lord Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at the Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born July 6, 1952, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Raymond and Pauline Gordon Thorn. She was a member of the Gateway Apostolic Church of Parkersburg. She is survived by her daughter, Christina Thaxton and her fiance, Jimmy McGary, of Parkersburg, W.Va.; her companion of 39 years, Harold Mitchell; one sister, Jean Sheets of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two brothers, Raymond "Woody" Thorn of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Randy Thorn of Vincent, Ohio; and a very close friend, Shorty Edgell of Parkersburg, W.Va. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 at the Gateway Apostolic Church, 15th and Oak Sts., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Steve Joy officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. will be assisting the Thorn family with arrangements.
