| Julie D. Roberts, 56, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away November 1, 2009, at Carehaven of Pleasants Co., W.Va. She was born January 3, 1953, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Oran C. Ogdin and Helen Rheam Ogdin Busch, the previous owners of the former family-operated Ogdin Funeral Home of Parkersburg. Julie was a member of the American Legion Post 15 of Parkersburg, and was an avid C-B’er, using the handle “Sweet Pea”. She also enjoyed bowling, going to the beach, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Surviving is one daughter, Christina Coffman and husband Ian of Vienna, W.Va.; one half-son, Christopher Roberts, who is currently based at Ft. Meade, Maryland, serving his country in the U.S. Army; one brother, Michael Ogdin of Orlando, Florida; and three grandchildren, Tristen P. and Sierra D. Persinger, and Ethany M. Coffman, all of Vienna, W.Va. A committal service will be conducted at 1PM, Monday, November 9, 2009, at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Chapel, with the Reverend Dr. Thomas McDowell officiating. Lambert-Tatman Funeral and Cremation Services, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, is assisting the family with arrangements. | |
