| Kenneth D. Watson, 69, of Belpre died Wednesday November 4, 2009 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born in Elizabeth, WV a son of the late Dock and Sylvia (Shears) Watson. He attended Wirt County High School and worked for several years for RA Miller Produce and Miller Produce in Belpre. He retired from Elkem Metals after twenty years. He was an avid sportsman, member of the Coon Hunters Association for many years in Barlow, OH, St. Marys, WV, and Belleville, WV. He is survived by his wife of fifty years Ramona (Cox) Watson, daughter Darlene Gum, son Mitch Watson (Dena), and grandchildren Justin and Ben Gum and Nathan and Audrey Watson all of Belpre, OH; brother Roy Watson of Elizabeth; sister Donna Randolph of Ripley, WV; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Evan Watson, Sr., Ray "Jack" Watson, and Carlos "Mick" Watson, and one grandson Shelby Elaine Gum. Services will be Sunday 2:00 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Mark Eaton officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery of Belpre. Visitation will be Saturday 2-8 PM.
