Edward C. Knotts, 83, of Walker, passed away on November 13, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born January 16, 1926 in Manora, WV a son of the late C. A. and Eva Campbell Knotts. Ed was a US Navy Veteran serving in the South Pacific during World War II. He and his wife operated Knotts Store in Leachtown for 15 years. Ed is survived by his wife of 61 years Peggy Wilson Knotts, son David Knotts of Canton, grandsons Kyle D. , Korey D, and Kristofer D. Knotts, granddaughters Mary Huxler, and Karissa D. Knotts, and five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his son Edward C. Knotts, and two sisters Betty Papas and Iris Douglas.
