Neale Williams, 82, of Parkersburg passed away November 16th, 2009 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born May 3, 1927 in Parkersburg to the late Ovel and Audrey Neale Williams. Neale was a graduate of Parkersburg High School, class of 1945 and attended Marietta College. He served in the U.S. Navy and was attached to a Technical Mission to Japan while stationed in Honolulu, HI. Neale was a member of the Masonic Order for fifty seven years, was a member of Parkersburg Lodge #169 A.F. & A.M. and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He retired in 1989 after thirty one years of service from Marbon Chemicals/ Borg Warner Chemicals/General Electric. Neale was a charter member of New Hope Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of fifty seven years, Betty Lewis Williams; two sons, Steven of Akron, Ohio and Alan and wife Kelle of Moore, OK; one brother, Kenneth of Lexington, KY; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Dr. David Carrico officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery with military honors conducted by Parkersburg American Legion Post 15 and Masonic graveside rites by Parkersburg Masonic Lodge #169.
