Timothy C. Moore passed away Jan. 31, 2010. Husband to Autumn. Father to Greer. Son to Louis and Opal. Brother to Lewis, Linda, Patrick and Elaine. To the rest of us, this man so loving and strong, so charismatic and genuine is our true friend. He is and will always remain our hero, our warrior and our teacher. Smiling Jack can’t wait to run through the Celestial woods with his master Tim. Timothy’s roles are not limited to: mentor and healer, lover, nephew, cousin, grandson and “Uncle” “first true love” adventurer, trapper, fisher, hunter “Grand Slam Turkey Champion” Riverman, Gator hunter, Mountain Man chef “Man for all Seasons” “Life Saver” and Our Compass, Our True North. When you are missing Tim, go to a clear night sky and look into the heavens. You will see one star that stands out: it wll shine brighter than the others, you will know it. When you see that star, you will feel Tim’s gaze upon you. His eyes will be slightly closed and his head slightly bowed. Then you will remember how he turned his head up and to the right, his eyes connecting with yours. He would see your very soul through your eyes. Then, he would smile. At that moment you knew that you were the only other person in the world. Tim, you changed the universe with your love. Neither God or man could ever ask more of you. Thank you for stirring our hearts and imagination. Thank you for making us all reach higher and live more fully. He requested that his passing be marked by celebration not sorrow. A private service will be followed by a celebration of his life to be held at J.P. Henry’s in Parkersburg. Friends may join in the celebration at 3 p.m., Saturday the 6th of February, 2010.
