Directions:
For Marinade, combine first 7 ingredients, 1/2 cup water, 1/4 teaspoon salt. Bring to boiling. Cover: simmer 20 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Add meat or vegetables. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Turn meat occasionally. Drain chicken: reserve marinade. Cut peppers into 1 inch squares, on 6 skewers alternate chicken and peppers. Grill over medium-hot coals to desired doneness: allow about 15 minutes for rare. Baste kebabs with marinade.
