 Don Emilio's
7/11/05: I used to eat here at least once every two weeks with my family, but since the move to the new building it has definitely went downhill. The first time eating there my meat tasted spoiled, and when I told the waitress she didn't say one word to me. She just marked it off my bill and never came back to the table. We had to go get our drinks refilled ourselves. You would think at least they would be nice when they give you bad food, but I guess not. It is definitely not the best or friendliest Mexican place in Parkersburg. Please try somewhere else.
Very good food, always get the shredded chicken taco salad, very nice remodeling job on the old chinese restaurant also.

Great that they came back, however we have been disappointed in service and food quality since the re-open. We used to eat there at least 2-3 a week for lunch before the move. The biggest disappointment has been the service. Waitresses are now forced to go from one end of the building to the other for food/service items, then take forever to return. Food is below par, smaller portions, different recipes (it seems for all the old favs), etc. We're hoping that after they get their feet back on the ground that things will return to normal. We miss the old Don's terribly.

I have to commend Don Emilio's new restaurant on their good service and for nice, roomy booths- something a lot of restaurants are lacking. The food is good and their prices are pretty reasonable- but their salsa is really lacking.

Gone for what seemed to be forever. The wait was worth it. Very clean, and the food was GREAT in taste.The portion size has shrunk, but it did that before the move. Hope to enjoy the great food for years to come.

Our first time there was great! We couldnt ask for a beter place to go
on a Friday or Saturday night out. The place has really changed..and
our last visit was not a pleasent one.

I grew up in the area and now live way out of state, but when I come home to visit I go out of my way to eat at Don's. This is my absolute favorite restaurant. The service is excellent and as always the food is also. I have many great memories of eating there with friends and family.

What has happened to Don's??? Filthy. Was there two nights ago....five dead flies in window sill. Salsa used to be the BEST...now it is terrible. Service is usually terrible anymore.
