Outback Steakhouse
We had a party of six and went to celebrate two birthdays. We were seated immediately! The server failed to give us bread plates or keep the bread filled, which I guess wasn't a tragedy since part of it was cold in the center. The main dishes were good, but the delicious side salads were quite small and were $2.29 not free (see earlier reviews). Some of us hadn't been to the Outback in a while. Based on this experience we didn't miss much. By SG Outback Steakhouse is number one on my list. I always have a great experience when I go. Sure the wait can be long, but it is definitely worth it. The steaks are tender and juicy, the shrimp is delicious and they don’t skimp on the sides like most restaurants do. The side salad just may be my favorite part of the meal, and even the bread they serve is wonderful. I’ve never had a bad experience with the service, everyone has always been delightful. I just tried out the Curbside Take Away today for lunch while I was at work. I just called and placed my order, drove right down the street and they delivered my order right to my car. It was fast, easy and the best lunch I’ve had in a while! By Dorothy Yes, there is a long wait time if you go during the traditional dinner dining hours. Once, on a Sunday I arrived at 3pm and was seated immediately. Long waits are not the standard. Even so, if you do have to wait, you are able to wait in your car in the parking lot, in the air conditioned waiting area, or on the outer patio where you can be served drinks while you wait. The food is excellent and I speak highly of their side salads that accompany their meals. Often in other restaurants you are charged for a soup or salad with your entree, but at Outback it is standard. Large croutons, cucumbers, onions, cheese, and tomatoes lie upon greens already topped with your favorite dressing. If a salad is this good, imagine the steaks. I have never recieved bad service from anyone at Outback, from the bartender to the server to the hostess. In fact, recently I found they pass numerous tests after extensive training to be an employee at Outback. For all their hard work, they are tipped poorly. Visit Outback. While you're there try their frozen drinks, margaritas, domestic and imported beers, and liquors and wines from their well-stocked bar.Don't forget dessert! Grab a Thunder from Down Under. There are "no rules" at Outback. Food is great. Wait time is way to long! The staff is unfriendly and slow. By Mary Ann |
