I think it was stupid they got caught... they need to do a better job of hiding it next time.

I am reading all of these comments about how people who knew them never expected this to happen because these boys just aren't like that. That they were just stupid with this decision and had no intention of hurting anyone, but stealing a gun, transfering hands on school grounds, and then making it fairly public that you are selling stolen property all for a pair of jeans, come on. This boy was obviously under some sort of peer pressure at school from somebody or some group and isn't that always how it starts. I think the punishment should most definitely be harsh and that if the boys are allowed to return to school that it should be a strictly monitored military school where they do not have access to firearms or an internet high school they attend from a jail cell.

I understand what these boys did was wrong but they are young boys! Everyone does stupid things when we are young! Burrows is my cousin and he is a good boy and wouldnt do anything to hurt anyone! I dont think he got a slap on the wrist he is sitting in jail, he wasnt even in school so he wasnt planning to shoot anyone, and as I just said he is already in jail i dont think eating the keys is appropriate! Yes their choices were stupid but I know my cousin has been punished even more than most drug dealers so maybe you should think about what you say about someone you dont know before you say it! If it was your loved one, kid, or even yourself I dont think you would be as harsh! I dont know the other 2 boys but Burrows has learned his lesson! So we can drop it now!!

I graduated from Warren 3 yrs ago and I knew Bradely, but not the other 2. I never thought he would so something like that. I heard about it from my sisters and than a few days later I seen it in the paper. I couldn't believe it.

No guns on school property means....NO GUNS ON SCHOOL PROPERTY! I think they got off with a slap on the wrist.

Just because some kids buy sell or trade firearms at school does not mean they are going to become the next Cho and try to get a hi-score. I personally bought a number of knives at my high school and used them for quite simple and harmless things like deer hunting or painless animal-euthanasia. We just can't assume that kids with guns in school are dangerous, I'm sorry. I plan to issue an M5 to my first child when they reach the hardened age of 7, and if school systems cannot adapt to this new mode of thinking, I think we're going to be facing a multitude of safety problems in the future, or columbine-like behavior.

HOW STUP CAN YOU BE??? WHY WOULD SOMEONE BRING A GUN TO SCHOOL LIKE THAT. WHAT KIND OF EXAMPLE ARE THE SEETING FOR THE LITTLE ONES. THEY SHOULD BE VERY ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. THEY GET WHAT THEY DESERVE I JUST CANT BELIEVE THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING THAT STUPID. IF YOUR GOING TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU DO IT SCHOOL IT IS STILL A BAD EXAMPLE. THEY KNEW THEY WERE DOING SOMETHING WRONG SO THEY DESERVE IT. YOU WOULD THEINK THEY WOULD KNOW BETTER SINCE THEY ARE OLDER????????????

i'm a senior at warren and i think they got what they deserved. how stupid can you be to bring a gun to school, then give it to someone else to seel it. just stupid move for them.

Please, first of all your feeling sorry for boys who made very poor decisions. I've known Bradley for many years and frankly, I did I expect more out of him. He is old enough to do the time for the crime, so let it be. No guns on school property means just that! No exceptions! Warren Local needs to use this as a huge wake up call - we don't need a Columbine shooting around here.

This is a no brainer. These 3 should never be aloud to enter in any school district, not alone WARREN. Throw the big YELLOW book at them and make them eat the keys to their jail cells.

i think that it was a stuped move..... and i think that WARREN needs to hold some of there students back.
