The Parkersburg Big Red girl's soccer team defeated Wheeling Park 1-0 in the state semfinals this morning. The defending state champion BIg Reds advanced to their third consecutive championship game. They will play the winner of George Washington and Jefferson.

Taylor Bryant scored the lone goal in the contest. The win improved the Big Red's record to 22-1-2 behind the strong keeper play of Kelsey Graham, who tallied yet another shut out, this time in the biggest game of the season. The championship game will be held at the YMCA sports complex in Beckley.
