Andy Morris worked hard to play to the best of his ability on the basketball court. And that work has paid off with a college scholarship.
This afternoon Andy accepted a basketball scholarship offer from Davis and Elkins college. With his parents, sister Ali, and coaches looking on, Andy signed his letter of intent with the West Virginia Conference school.
Andy didn't play competitive basketball until 9th grade But his determination made up for lost time.
By his senior season he would lead the patriots in scoring and rebounding. Andy averaged over 16 points a game and led the Patriots to a sectional championship.
He also was the co-MVP of the B.A.C.F. All Star game.
His performance caught the attention of Davis and Elkins and andy believes the school is a good fit for him.
