(AP) - The Nationwide Tour will give eight members of the public the chance to win $1 million for making a hole-in-one on a par-3 before the Players Club tournament in Bridgeport this summer.

Contestants in the Wells Fargo Players Cup Shootout will be chosen every Friday for the next two months at a restaurant in Bridgeport.

Eight people _ one chosen each week _ will be offered a chance to try for an ace on the 185-yard 16th hole at the Pete Dye Golf Club.

The shootout will be held July 6. The Players Cup is set for July 10 through 13.
