There are more details now about Parkersburg's night in the spotlight in ESPN's "Titletown" competition.

Parkersburg's prominent success in high school athletics has it in the running for the banner of "Titletown" with other cities large and small around the country

ESPN will be on hand for a taping at 6pm July 18th at Stadium Field.

There will be a rally in conjunction with that taping. The gates open at 4:30. Admission is free, and there will be contingents from Parkersburg, Parkersburg South and Parkersburg Catholic involved in the festivities.

The public is welcome to be a part of the title "Titletown" celebration.

ESPN's Wendy Nix will host the Parkersburg title town segments

After the taping and editing, Parkersburg will be featured on the July 22nd on ESPN's Sportscenter beginning at 6pm.
