(AP) - The final two games of a three-game football series between Miami and Marshall have been canceled.
Marshall played at Miami in 2007. The agreement called for a second game in Huntington in 2011 and a third game in Miami in 2012.
Marshall athletic director Bob Marcum gave no reasons for the cancellation this week. Hurricanes spokesman Mark Pray says the cancellation was Marshall's decision.
Marshall received a $350,000 guarantee for the first game. The teams were to exchange $250,000 guarantees for the second and third games.
Marcum says Marshall is working to replace Miami on the future schedules.
