Ritchie County wins Class AA Golf Championship

For the second year in a row, a Little Kanawha Conference school has won the Class AA West Virginia high school golf championship
Wednesday afternoon in Wheeling the Ritchie County Rebels rolled to a 10 stroke margin of victory to take the first state golf title in school hstory.
The Rebels started the day tied with Scott and pullled away for a double digit victory over the school.
The Rebel contngent includes Derek Meyers, Matt Metz, Tyler Mossor, Jordan Shaffer, Dan Jones and Josh Metz.
And they're coached by Tad VanScoy
Congratulations to the Rebels.
Hurrricane won the Class AAA crown with a 16 stroke margin of victory over second place Wheeling Park.
Parkersburg South's Ben Kunselman earned All State honors in the Class AAA ranks
Trinity shaded Charleston Catholic by 1 shot to win the Class A championship.
Alex Seago of the St. Marys Blue Devils. also garnered All State honors in the small school division.
