(AP) -- Marshall has a new interim Athletic Director.

President Stephen J. Kopp said Wednesday that associate Athletic Director for Finance David Steele will fill in for the retired Bob Marcum.

Steele has been at Marshall since 1995. He oversaw business operations, budgeting, video and concessions and assisted the athletic director with football scheduling.

A search is under way for a permanent replacement for Marcum, who retired after seven years at Marshall.
