Pirates Sign Three Players From Taiwan
All three players are high schoolers.

(AP) -- The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed three teenage Taiwan high school players on the first day of the international free agent signing period.
Signed on Thursday were outfielder Ping-Hung chi, 18, and right-hander Sheng-Cin Hong, 18, both of Hsi Yuan High School and Chih-Wei Hsu, 17, a first baseman who also pitched at Kuang Fu High School.
All three players will begin their professional careers at the Australia Baseball Academy.
