A former Bobcat is heading overseas to play professional basketball in France.

Chalon sur Saone of the French Pro A League says Ohio University forward Jerome Tillman has agreed to terms that will make him the 41st former Bobcat to play overseas.

Tillman also becomes the third OU player in the last two years to ink a professional overseas deal.

Tillman, a two-time All-Mid-America Conference honoree, led the 2008-09 Bobcats with 17.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. He also paced the MAC with eight double-doubles and scored in double figures in 31 of OU's 32 games.

He joins National Player of the Year Black Griffin and Notre Dame's Luke Harangody as one of only three players to lead his conference in both points and rebounds per game.

Tillman's resume includes 26 career double-doubles, All-MAC disntinctions in three of his four seasons, and he's one of five players in OU history to rank in the top ten in points (8th) and rebounds (8th). His double-double mark is the fifth most by an OU player since 1990.

Leon Williams and Bubba Walther are the other two Bobcats in the last two seasons to play professionally overseas.
