West Virginia High School Football Polls Are Out
The polls are out in the Mountain State. Parkersburg Catholic are in the spotlight this week.

The polls are out in the Mountain State. Parkersburg Catholic are in the spotlight this week. The Crusaders have moved up to number 3 this week in West Virginia Class Single A rankings. The Crusaders moved up after knocking off the former number 3 ranked team, Calhoun County.
Like the original Crusaders, Danny Tennant's guys are road warriors winning 3 straight away games. This week they will stay at home for a matchup against Trinity.
Other area teams in the class Single A ranks include Wahama in 6th place and Williamstown moves up to 10th place in the standings. The defending state champions are at home on Friday to host Calhoun County.
Also taking honors is Wirt County at 16 and St. Mary's at 19.
In class Double A, the Ravenswood Red Devils are the new number 1. Frankfort comes up in 2nd, Braxton takes the number 3 spot, and Point Pleasant checks in at number 13.
Last but not least in the Triple A ranks are the Martinsburg Bulldogs getting the number 1 nod.
In Parkersburg, the Big Reds moved up to 19th and the South Patriots get bumped up to 25th.
The top 16 teams in each poll with make the playoffs at the end of the season.
