Several athletes from the Mid-Ohio Valley represented West Virginia in the 2010 Special Olympics in Nebraska.

Staci and Shari Pursley teamed up in the pool this week and medaled in 5 of 6 events.

Staci earned the gold medal in the 200 freestyle, bronze in the 100 breastroke, and 4th place in the 100 freestyle.

Sheri earned the gold medal in the 200 backstroke, silver in the 100 backstroke, and bronze in the 100 butterfly.

Ravenswood's Charlotte Pease and Darla Blankenship teamed up with Patricia McCune (Fairplains) and Tia Beel (Evans) to earn the Bronze medal in Bocce.
