The West Virginia State American Legion baseball tournament gets underway Wednesday at Appalachian Power Park Stadium in Charleston

Parkersburg Post 15 will be one of the 6 teams in the field..

This coach jim Goodwin and his coaches put Post 15 through their final workouts.

They will face against Morgantown in the opening game of the double elimination event.

The team has grown alot since the season began in June,.and a strong finish has them back on the plus side of the ledger in the win column and back in the state tourney

Goodwin is happy with the way his team is playing right now and is excited about the opportunity this week at the state tournament.

Post 15 faces its first test against Morgantown Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 in Charleston
