Elizabeth Green joined the WTAP News team in January 2006. She grew up in St. Albans, West Virginia, with her parents and three older brothers. She graduated from the W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Marshall University in Huntington.
During her time in college, Elizabeth reported for "MU Report," Marshall's daily news show. She also spent several months interning at WSAZ-TV in Huntington, a sister-station of WTAP-TV. She also co-hosted an ATV safety video for the West Virginia Division of Highways.
Elizabeth moved to Parkersburg with her husband, Nathan, and their cat Gizmo. She is excited to begin her career in her home state! In her spare time, Elizabeth likes spending time with her family and friends and supporting the Herd!
