"I have a BA and MA in Telecommunications from Michigan State University, plus a Broadcast Meteorology Certificate from Mississippi State University.
I served two years as the Cooperative Observer for the National Weather Service in Athens County where I live.
A married father of two, I enjoy spending quality time with my family when not at the station. My children and I enjoy reading comic books and Harry Potter books together.
An avid sailor, my first interest in the weather was sparked when I got my first sailboat in Junior High.
I have been with WTAP since 1996, and prior to then, I worked in radio. I enjoy keeping the Mid-Ohio Valley informed of what to expect with the weather and I especially enjoy helping students understand weather through WTAP’s Weatherschool."
