A man was shot and wounded in Calhoun county Monday morning.

Calhoun county emergency dispatchers tell WTAP that the man was shot just after 6 Monday morning on Pine creek road.

He was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care in Grantsville.

There is no word on what led to the shooting or what the man's condition is at this time.
