A Wednesday morning fire in Washington County has been ruled accidental.
It happened around 1 am at a home on Highland Ridge Road.
Salem Township Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jay Handschumacher says five people were home at the time of the blaze but no one was injured.
Firefighters from four volunteer fire departments responded to the scene.
The fire chief says the blaze was started by an electrical short.
The house is a total loss and the family did not have homeowners insurance.
The fire chief estimates the damage to be around $130,000.
