Sunday afternoon dogs and their masters came together to help raise money for other four legged friends that call a local shelter home.
The owners of Gone To The Dogs, a doggy daycare, boarding and grooming facility, held a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Parkersburg.
Some of the dogs that came were dressed up in their Halloween costumes from last night while more than 20 dogs were getting their nails done, bathed, and groomed.
The event raised more than 500 dollars for the shelter.
Brian Boesen with Gone To The Dogs said attention needs to be paid to the shelter, "There are plenty of dogs to be had at the humane society, they need our help that's why I did this today."
Boesen plans to have the fundraiser again next year.
The Director of the Humane Society of Parkersburg, Maryann Holis, was thankful for the support from the event.
Holis said that the money will be used for operating funds.
