What a great story! Congratulations and “Thank You” Sergeant Myers. What a wonderful birthday present for CJ. I am sure it is one he will always remember and cherish. It is a shame that we have so many families separated like this one fighting a war that we should have never started. It is my hope and prayer that these types of reunions will begin to happen more and more often and that when the family members return home it is for good! I do not want to be seeing these types of stories for the next 100 years!

I have worked with Chris just before he went overseas and I know how much his family means to him. I'm glad he got to spend some time with his family and be able to give his son something he will never forget. Chris, I'm proud of you buddy, keep up the good work!!!

There were no words that could tell you how touching this story is.The little boy could never ask for a better gift for his birthday. It is sad because poeple never take the time to think what are men are giving up to be over the fighting for us.

i think this was great to see his dad come to the school. as i watched this it brought tears to my eyes, it is very emotional. a lot of people dont understand how hard it is. my family is going through a hard time with one of our family members getting hurt in iraq but is back in the us. i thank god for keeping our soldiers safe and bringing them home to us. god bless this family
