A tractor-trailer overturned in Mineral Wells just after 10 p.m. Tuesday night.

Officials from the Wood County Sheriff's Office said the vehicle was exiting off of the southbound lane of Interstate 77 onto Route 14 when it overturned.

Officials said they can not pinpoint the exact cause of the crash, but suspect a load shift may have cause the tractor-trailer to tip.

Officials said the driver suffered only minor injuries and did not have to be taken to the hospital. No other vehicles were involved.

The roadway was able to remain open following the accident.
