Stormbreaker windows supplied by Simonton Windows helped to weather the storm in Houston last weekend.

In a press release supplied by Simonton Windows, spokesmen for the Weather Museum of Houston credit their survival to the installation of the high quality product from West Virginia.

Simonton Windows is a founding corporate sponsor of the interactive, hands-on Weather Museum in Houston.

School children and the general public are able to learn about the cause of weather, hurricanes, tornadoes and storms in the facility.

National weather forecasts, marine alerts, and other meteorological products are prepared by staff members from the two story building in the museum district of Houston.

According to the press release, at least three meteorologists were able to weather the storm as debris and rain assaulted the windows installed during the historic building's remodeling two years ago.

Another window, not replaced with Simonton window glass, failed during the storm, they report.

Simonton Windows is a founding sponsor of the Weather Museum and maintains displays of all their products in the facility.
