You can travel around the world this weekend by stopping at the Parkersburg City Park.
The 14th Annual Multi-Cultural Festival kicked off Friday night with a variety of Cultures represented.
The performances ranged from Albanian Gypsy music to Middle Eastern Dance and changed to Classic 70's Rock & Roll.
But the cuisine available from vendors goes around the world as well...
"I'm part of your multi-cultural society now, being Irish..Irish extract with a little African in me," explains Peter Baker of Sneaky Peat Irish BBQ. "I actually teach you guys how to Barbecue!"
"There's a lot of people probably in West Virginia," observes Raj Kamur, of the Star of India restaurant. "They haven't tried our food yet, but hopefully they will try it today and see if they like it or not. "
The Multi-Cultural Festival continues in City Park 11 a.m. until 11 pm Saturday and again noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
WTAP personalities will be introducing performers all weekend long, so stop on by, and say "Hi!"
