Their smiles and laughs are contagious! Easygoing, fun-loving, and motivated describes these two boys.

They're in the same foster home but they're looking for separate families to share the rest of their lives with.

Meet Carl and Scott in this month's Wednesday's Child.

"Hello, my name is Scott," said Scott.

As soon as I brought out the camera, Scott's eyes lit up.

"Look, how'd that happen?" he said.

Scott likes anything electronic so he wanted to learn all about this microphone and camera but he wanted to share it with his foster brother Carl.

"Now it's Carl's turn," said Scott.

So let's start with Carl. This caring 13-year-old is wild about math, cars, and movies but he really loves helping others. He takes care of a dog named Phoebe.

"She's blind, almost deaf, and you just love her," said Carl.

Carl's wiser beyond his years. He's an honor roll student going into the eighth grade who's already planning for his future.

"I want to be an automobile mechanic (and) go to school for about four years," he said.

At seven years old, Scott isn't so sure yet. "I want to be a cop," said Scott, but a job in TV isn't out of the question.

"It's hot and humid," said Scott.

For now, he and Carl enjoy the great outdoors. "I like to ride my bike and go to the pool," said Carl.

Scott said he likes to "go to the beach." He's never actually been to the beach but says he knows he'll like it and there's not much this kid doesn't like!

"Don't cry, it's just a joke!" said Scott.

Scott drew this picture for his foster mom. "It's a love picture," he said.
They like their foster family but both hope to find a family each can call his own, permanently.

"Be at the same house that I was in. Shoo fly!" he said. That's one thing Scott doesn't like-bugs!

He does like pizza and Carl likes chicken. "You just gotta love chicken!" said Carl.

Now he'd like a family to eat chicken or any other dinner with each night.

"Yeah, that'd be nice," said Carl.

These two are waiting. They're waiting for families who can give them the love and attention they're so willing to give back.

"This is Scott, back to you Leslie."
