Jerrik enjoys the outdoors so we met him at North Bend State Park in Cairo, WV to play a game of putt-putt.

"I haven't played golf before so I'll try my best," said Jerrik.

He sure did try his best and all of us there soon found out he's a natural golfer!

This 12-year-old even scored a hole in one!

"That's crazy. How'd that happen?" said Jerrik.

He said he could be the next Tiger Woods but he wants to continue studying after high school.

"Go to college and get a four year degree."

Jerrik watches the History Channel's TV show "Modern Marvels" and is discovering he wants to become a bricklayer, construction worker, or an electrician but he's not ruling anything out yet.

"I don't know. I got a list of stuff that's optional for jobs," he said.

It's fitting his favorite subjects are math and science and boy does he love numbers!

While looking at his golf ball that came close to the hole he said "that's like a millimeter away!"

He also enjoys talking about measurements "like kilowatts and stuff" he said.

But it's the simple wonders of nature that spark his interest.

"I found a shell fossil. It's right here in my pocket."

Now Jerrik's searching for something else- parents who he can spend time with him.

"Just mainly ones that do activities like athletics stuff like baseball," he said.

He'd also like to have brothers and sisters.

"If they lived with me in the same home, that would be fun."

Plus he'd like to go to parks, fish, and play basketball with them.

"But everybody loves football," he said.

By playing miniature golf, Jerrik showed us he's excited about new experiences and now he's ready for another new experience- to live in a forever home with a devoted family.
