It was a day of all things girls for this month's Wednesday's Child. From hair to nails, Crystal had a day of pampering at Head to Toe in Ripley.

The 16-year-old loves to hang out with her friends or dive into a good book, particularly Harry Potter.

"I like reading mostly. I just like to read a lot."

Crystal loves animals and dreams of galloping off on a horse.

"I basically like any kind of animal, dogs, cats, I don't like mice," she said.

This 10th grader embraces a quiet personality, but is not one to brush off new experiences.

"I like meeting new people," Crystal said.

She also says she would love a big family and is ready to offer a helping hand.

"I like helping other people so it might be better if I was the oldest," she said.

Crystal is already looking ahead to college and a career is social work. She hopes her own experience in foster care, will help her polish a career of helping others find a place to call home.
