Melissa Mack graduated from Youngstown State University, and joined WTAP-TV in late December 2002. Before coming to the Mid-Ohio Valley, Melissa interned at WFMJ-TV in Youngstown (where she met Ray Petelin, another WTAP-TV alumnus!) and WEWS-TV in Cleveland.

During her stay at WTAP-TV, Melissa served as a news reporter and a weekend weather anchor.

Melissa went on to work in Youngtown and Cleveland, Ohio. In Januaru 2010, she began work at WBZ-TV in Boston.
