WVU’s Stills named Big 12 preseason Defensive Player of the year
Mountaineer senior recognized as on of the Big 12 conference's best.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va (WTAP) - Pre-season honors have come the way of West Virginia Mountaineer lineman Darius Stills.
The senior has been named the Big 12 Conference’s pre-season Defensive Player of the Year.
The honor was voted on by media that cover the Big 12 conference
Stills is 6′1 282 pounds and is a Fairmont native.
He’s coming off of a great 2019 season that saw him rack up 31 solo tackles, including 7 sacks and 1 forced fumble
The conference’s Offensive Player of the Year honors went to Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard.
