Parkersburg South High School gets new window coverings
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Parkersburg South High School has some new bling on its main entrance this year: a brand new set of decorative window covers.
The covers form a mural of the PSHS mascot, the patriot. The display also shows “PSHS” and “Parkersburg South” in big, bold letters.
Principal Betsy Patterson says this display replaces an older one which had worn down over time.
While the display is aesthetically pleasing, Patterson says it also serves a security purpose.
“They also serve as a security feature because you cannot see into the school building from the outside, but you can see clearly from the inside out,” said Patterson.
Patterson says the new designs have been well-received by the student body. The coverings were made by AC Audio-Video.
