Obituary: Charlotte Maxine Piersol

Charlotte Maxine Piersol, 88 of Congress Rd, Belpre passed away peacefully at home after an extended illness. Charlotte was a lifelong Christian, loved her family and was best known by many for; Real Estate sales, toy poodle sales and grooming, hard worker and the best mother a child could have. Charlotte was born in Parkersburg, daughter of the late Perry Lee Mackey and Pearl Lucille Scott Mackey. She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School class of 1950 and moved to Belpre in 1952.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her late husband; William Howard Piersol, three brothers; Perry, Blaine, and Charles Mackey of Parkersburg. She is survived by her sister, Bertha Moore RN of Parkersburg, half-sisters; Mary Lou Custard of Youngstown and Alice Faye Cross of Parkersburg. Charlotte’s immediate family consists of three sons; Michael (Stacy) Piersol, Dr. Johnny (Pam) Piersol, both of Belpre, Dr. Doug (Terrie) Piersol, of Devola and a daughter, Debra Mills of Belpre, two grandsons, Dr. Greg (Jenny) Piersol of Belpre, Esq. Brett (Lindsey) Piersol of Vienna, two granddaughters, Dr. Crystal (John) Dowler, Heather (Josh) Hebb both of Athens and four great grandchildren, Cameron Piersol, Izzy Dowler, Christian Hebb and Sidney Piersol.

The Family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers over the years. A special thanks to our sister, Charlotte’s daughter Debra Mills for her tireless attention to our mother and her needs over the past several years.

Private Services will be held with Pastor Vernon Reams officiating. Burial will be in the Rockland Cemetery.
