UPDATE: Route 50 near Coolville fully reopened after wreck

UPDATE: 4/21/2021, 4:05 P.M.

ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio (WTAP) - Both lanes of traffic are reopened at U.S. 50 and Ohio route 32 in Athens County after a crash that occurred at 8:44 A.M. Wednesday reduced traffic to one lane for much of the morning and afternoon.

The crash involved a semi truck. WTAP will continue to provide additional information as further details become available.

ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio (WTAP) - Additional information has been provided regarding a crash involving a commercial vehicle has blocked the right lane on eastbound U.S. 50 and Ohio route 32 in Athens County.

The commercial vehicle is reported to be a semi truck, and the crash occurred at 8:44 A.M.

Traffic is still reduced to one lane.

WTAP will continue to provide additional information as it becomes available.

ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio (WTAP) - A crash involving a commercial vehicle has blocked the right lane on eastbound U.S. 50 and Ohio route 32 in Athens County.

The Ohio Department of Transportation says it happened just beyond Vanderhoof Road in the Coolville area.

The Athens post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says it’s not believed there are any serious injuries.
