UPDATE: Reagan dinner Thursday night at Grand Pointe Conference Center
VIENNA, W.Va. (WTAP) - Republicans in Wood County celebrate their traditional Ronald Reagan dinner Thursday.
The fundraiser was at Grand Pointe in Vienna.
Wood County Republican Executive Chairman Roger Conley says the top issues republicans face today include second amendment rights, education, and tax reform.
He says this dinner helps them get ready for the primary season coming up.
West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey was the keynote speaker.

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is the keynote speaker Thursday evening at the Wood County Republican Party’s annual Reagan Dinner.
Morrisey will be one of several prominent republicans at the dinner. Some other notable attendees are state GOP chairman Mark Harris and Allen Whitt, President of the Family Council of West Virginia.
“Before you know it, it’s going to be time to start working the primary trail. We are all very committed in West Virginia and across the country to take the house back in 2022, and tomorrow night, we start the process,” said Roger Conley, Wood County Republican Executive Committee Chairman.
He says they are expecting 75 to 80 guests. Masks will be required, and social-distancing guidelines will be enforced.
