PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A Wood County manufacturer is getting a new name and a new product line.

JAG Mobile Solutions is buying the current Conley Fabrication site on the outskirts of Mineral Wells.

JAG manufactures items such as mobile locker rooms and kitchens for the specialty trailer business.

The company has been in operation for 15 years and ships to 19 countries.

”We’re looking at something that’s going to be a positive impact for my current employees, getting very good job security,” said Conley’s owner and founder, Roger Conley. “It’s a tremendous opportunity for the community. We’re going to, as soon as possible, hire 40 people, These are going to be very nice-paying jobs with benefits.”

Conley said his company saw continued growth through the past decade, but the pandemic resulted in a loss of revenues and a cutback in staffing.

“Bill Gibson has built a company that continues to grow and is looking to better the lives of people from his home state by paying a good wage and offering competitive benefits,” said Lindsey Piersol of the Wood County Development Authority. “We look forward to his continued success and growth here in West Virginia”

JAG iwill be retaining Roger Conley and his staff. In addition, JAG is looking to immediately hire 40 new employees paying up to $18.50 per hour including welders and do-it-yourselfers. Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge is a plus.
