Patricia Ann White, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and “Gammy” passed away on April 23, 2021 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Her strong faith in God was evident to the end.

She was born in Birch River, West Virginia on March 19, 1936 to the late Archie and Maverine Lawrence.

Patricia received her education from Richwood High School (WV) and Mountain State Business College. She began her career at the Chamber of Commerce in Charleston, WV and moved to Parkersburg, WV after her marriage to David E. White in 1956. She then worked as a secretary at the law firm of Clovis and Kiger. She finished her career as an Assistant Vice President at United Bank.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, David White of Vienna, WV; daughter, Missy (Greg) Carden; granddaughter, Katie (Tyler) McGhee; two great grandchildren, Elena and Elijah McGhee; brothers, Dave (Joanne) Lawrence, Daryl (Ann) Lawrence; sister, Janie Wolfe; brother-in-law, Charlie Schnabel; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.

Pat was noted for her generous heart, her warm smile, her devotion to her family and to God and her church. She was an active member of Liberty Street Church of God for over 60 years; singing in the choir, volunteering as church secretary, and preparing many dishes for church events or people in need. Pat loved spending time with her family and devoted herself to caring for her grandchild and later, her great grandchildren. The time spent with them was her greatest joy in life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joretta Schiewe and Nadine Schnabel, both of Austin, Texas.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Liberty Street Church of God.
