PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - The Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley and the Professional Women’s Association of the Mid-Ohio Valley are hosting a Women in Leadership conference on June 25. The event will take place from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. at the Grand Pointe Conference Center.

The theme of the event will be “Finding Your Voice”, a topic that the Chamber feels is particularly relevant given many residents’ experiences with COVID-19.

“Our theme is ‘Finding Your Voice’. Especially after a year of a pandemic, a lot of us have been behind computer screens or on the phone. So we’re thrilled to be back in person, and we’re going to devote the day to finding yourself again and finding your voice after the pandemic..and how you can translate that not only into your work life, but into your home life, as well,” said Nicole Guinn, membership and events specialist at the Chamber.

The event’s speakers will include Ann Gramc, founder of Barefoot in the Sand, certified marriage and family therapist Dr. Priscilla Leavitt, PhD, LPC, and enneagram expert Sarah Farrish.

Local vendors will also be present, and there will be opportunities for attendees to connect and network.

The deadline for registration is June 11, and tickets can be purchased online here.
