Pope names new leader for West Virginia diocese after scandal

Pope Francis named Baltimore Auxiliary Bishop Mark Brennan to lead the Wheeling-Charleston diocese in West Virginia on Tuesday following a scandal over the former bishop's sexual harassment of adults and lavish spending of church money.

An Amber Alert has been issued for Gracelynn June Scritchfield. She is described as 3 feet tall, weighs 35 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.

The superintendent says they are looking at more ways to prevent or prepare for future breaks.

Last year's fundraiser helped the group purchase a new van for deliveries.
