The winner of the November Golden Shield Award is Lloyd Smith.
Patrick Smith was the recipient of October’s Golden Shield Award. Smith has been a member of the Williamstown VFC since August 2013.
Trooper David Handschumacher, a patrolman for the Ohio State Highway Patrol Marietta post, won this month’s award.
The August 2023 Golden Shield Award was presented to an officer from the Parkersburg Police Department on Thursday afternoon.
